<p>Die öffentliche Sorge für die Gesundheit der Bevölkerung hat in der Covid-19-Pandemie von neuem ihre Relevanz und ihre Probleme gezeigt. Sichtbar wurden Problemlagen der Gesundheitssysteme und der internationalen Gesundheitsgerechtigkeit, der politischen und ökonomischen Einbettung der Gesundheitsvor- und -fürsorge, aber auch der Krankheitsdeutungen und der Körperpraktiken. Als Thema der Ethik erfordert Öffentliche Gesundheit (Public Health) eine systematische Bearbeitung, in der medizinethische Probleme mit Fragestellungen der Sozialethik, der politischen Ethik und der Ethik der Lebensführung im Zusammenhang zu betrachten sind. So verbindet der Band sozial- und medizinethische, rechtliche, historische, körpertheoretische sowie arbeitssoziologische Analysen mit theologischen Perspektiven.[Public Health]Public concern for the health of the population has once again shown its relevance and its problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. Problems of the health systems and international health justice, the political and economic embedding of health care and welfare, but also interpretative schemes of diseases and physical practices became visible. As a subject of ethics, public health requires a systematic treatment in which problems of medical ethics are to be considered in connection with questions of social ethics, political ethics and the ethics of lifestyle. The volume combines social and medical-ethical, legal, historical, body-theoretical and work-sociological analyses with theological perspectives.<br></p>
