Established as the definitive source of information for various properties of pure chemicals, this looseleaf work compiles data on a total of 1,584 compounds. Supplement 8 includes new data for 76 chemicals, as well as 76 replacement tables for family updates, new references, and additional synonyms.Approved by the AIChE and the National Standard Reference Data Service of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, this compilation contains critically evaluated, internally consistent data that follows the laws of physical chemistry. For each chemical, 28 property constants and 13 temperature-dependent properties are provided. Where necessary, values are estimated by the best available methods. Extensive tabulations of physical constants and equations for calculating temperature-dependent properties are given, as well as references, notes, and quality codes.
