A brief history of the left-wing socialist movement in Iceland which formed a faction in the Labour Party in the 1920s, and which was formally organised in the Communist Party of Iceland in 1930, in the Socialist Unity Party in 1938–1968, and in the People’s Alliance in 1968–1998.
