Author Description

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) quarterly forecasts of short-term energy supply, demand, and prices are revised in January, April, July, and October for publication in the Short-Term Energy Outlook (Outlook). Methodology volumes, published periodically, contain descriptions of major changes in the forecasting system, analyze previous forecast errors, and provide detailed analyses of current issues that affect EIA's short-term energy forecasts. The principal users of the Outlook are managers and energy analysts in private industry and government. This is a regular monthly supplement to the EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook.
