Highlights scientific accomplishments of the Nat. Center for Research Resources (NCRR) in 1994 and 1995. NCRR is a component of the Nat. Inst. of Health (NIH), the world¿s largest biomedical research org. Also describes NCRR activities and areas of emphasis, including the major research resources NCRR makes available to NIH-funded biomedical investigators throughout the U.S. Examples of NCRR-supported biomedical research resources and future resource development opportunities are set forth. Interspersed are stories of research discoveries and successes that illustrate how NCRR works in partnership with other NIH components and the public and private scientific communities to advance our nation's health agenda.
