The yearbook communicates a wealth of up-to-date information about the Library Association, its branches and groups, and its members. Part one contains practical information about the regional branches and specialist interest groups of the association: current committee members with details of where they may be contacted, and a current list of publications together with ordering information. Also in part one are details of: standing committees of Council; Library Association Officers, departments and staff; and subscription rates. Finally, a section is devoted to listing the winners, past and present, of Library Association medals, grants and awards, and to giving details of the criteria required for entry. Part two is given over to the Library Association's Royal Charter, code of professional conduct, bye-laws, regulations for elections and for associateship rules of procedure, and other matters of policy and practice. Part 3 consists of a full list of Library Association members, personal and institutional, in the United Kingdom and overseas, giving details of members' qualifications and current employment.
