In the 25 years since its publication began, American Reference Books Annual has come to be regarded as a comprehensive review source for reference books published or distributed in the United States. Canadian reference publications are also included. The approximately 1,700 entries in ARBA 94 continue to encompass an entire spectrum of subjects, covering such broad areas as general reference, history, education, literature, urban studies, economics and business, and science and technology.
