Analyses key policy issues and problems, including macroeconomic matters, fiscal policy, industrial relations, unemployment and environmental issues. Includes an index. A companion volume 'Economic Update: The fifty most important graphs that explain the economy' is written by the same author. The author is director of community and business education, faculty of commerce at the University of NSW. He writes a newspaper column for the 'Australian Financial Review'.
