The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is the statistical part of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In addition to organizing the Census of Agriculture every five years, the NASS conducts hundreds of surveys and generates national reports on economics, demographics, envionment and agricultural production. This is a report produced from this division of the USDA.
