Upon concluding that a work purported to be a valuable heirloom is a fake, art restorer Leone Fleming finds herself being stalked. Even though Leone's convinced that she's the target of wealthy Piers Carlton, the police don't believe her--nor does Jack, Leone's former lover who has returned in time to find her best friend murdered. With both Piers and Jack appearing equally blameless, then equally guilty, Leone realizes that she alone must determine who the real threat is.
