With enchanting illustrations and fascinating facts about the creature's appearance, habits and environment this series of books introduce young ones to the world's rarest, most exotic and endangered animals. Exciting and fun to read and written in rhyme, the children don't realise they are learning. Sometimes the reader might guess the identity of the mystery animal before the end and sometimes not, particularly with the less well known species.
