Those days a Note of 100 Rupees was a big amount for a common person, one could see a movie in just 20 Rupees, and two persons easily could eat out a night meals in 50 Rs. at a small restaurant. The girls wearing a Saree with full sleeve blouse looked more beautiful and charming. A Fiat Car owner was regarded with envy, and people having a telephone line were regarded big people. In that era there was an invisible wall between men and woman, the 'dating' culture was struggling to come in open even in the upper class, the middle class boys and girls had to steal a moment to have a chat. Young ones had a craze for glamorous actors of the cinema; they copied them from hair to the shoes, posture to the fashion. Friendship between a boy and a girl was restricted even in metro cities.It is a story of a middle class young man, who started to make himself known as a brother of a talk of the town beautiful girl, in seek of success in life, so that some tycoon may give him a good job in want of his beautiful sister.When this humorous story was presented as a comedy Play, it was watched with roaring applause, later a home entertainment Movie was produced on this story and it became a talked about Video movie of the time.
