Revolution and Transitionb Reevaluating the 20th Century Russian RevolutionDreaming of a New Social Revolution in the 21st Centuryb2017 is the first anniversary of the candlelight revolution in Korea and the centennial anniversary of the Russian Revolution Year. In this book, which was published in the 8th Marx Symposium, this book attempts to evaluate and think about the Russian Revolution on the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. Using this work as a starting point, we explore the possibility of a new social revolution beyond the present social crisis and darkness, and the possibility of social transformation. To this end, the Russian Revolution and Leninism were evaluated from various perspectives, and new interpretations of the revolutionary movements of the twentieth century, including the 68 Revolution and the Chinese Revolution. Not only this discourse of the past, but also discuss strategies of revolution and implementation considering recent discourses such as artificial intelligence and the fourth industrial revolution, and analyze alternative strategies for ecological crisis. In addition, todays Marxist movement as an alternative to realizing the red-violet age and basic income is also dealt with in depth.
