Park Science is a research and resource management bulletin of the U.S. National Park Service that reports the implications of recent and ongoing natural and social science and related cultural research for park planning, management, and policy. In particular, articles translate scientific findings into usable knowledge for park planning and the development of sound management practices for natural resources and visitor enjoyment. This is one of those bulletins.
