Only five books were published, two by Pan Books, one by BBC Books and the last two by Mayflower Granada Books. Angels ran from 1976 to 1982, although some might say it seemd a lot longer than that. One actress Kathryn Apanowicz went on to act in both Eastenders and Emmerdale, while Marsha Fitzalan played Sarah B'Stard in the New Statesman.
