In 1979, award-winning photographer Martin H.M. Schreiber was an Photographing the Nude. One evening, a budding young future superstar happened to be his model: Madonna Ciccone. These photographs are the results of that session. They chronicle the woman before she became the legend. Madonna went on to pose for Martin in subsequent sessions, some appearing in Schreiber's first book, Bodyscapes.
