Never in my life did I ever imagine that I would be married, then divorced, and dating again. Dating seemed so easy back then and everything was so simple. A man saw you in public, at a party or a bar with your friends, and he asked you to dance, or he made eye contact and approached you with interest. He was going to say something profound or probably just straight to the point, like, "Do you wanna go out some time?" Everything is different now that I'm older. Online dating gives the term "window shopping" an entirely new meaning and the dating pool isn't what it was when I was in my 20's. Those men grew up to be jaded by rejection and hurt feelings, and do not seem to care how they come across to the opposite sex. I journaled some of my experiences because I could not believe what my dates were saying. Their behavior was unbelievable. These first dates were just too over-the-top.
