Author Description

The lei embodies the aloha spirit of the Hawaiian people. It means hospitality, love, peace, hello and farewell. Given in that spirit a lei can say good luck, congratulations, I love you, I honor you, thank you. The flowers may last only a few hours, but the memory of having a lei placed on your shoulders lasts forever.
