Author Description

From one perspective, this is the story of a building and its transformation over nearly six decades. From a broader perspective, it is the story of God's providential care operating in the life of the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, of the farsighted planning of its administrators, and of the flexibility of the many sisters who resided there. These sisters carried out a wide variety of ministries within and outside of this building. Combining these two perspectives, this is a story about meeting immediate needs as well as preparing for the future. – Michel Keenan, IHM
