The rains were heavy about harvest time with warm.weather which caused outbreaks of potato blight end.damaged the keeping quality of potatoes. It has been reported that prevalence of the blight will likely contribute to storage losses and possibly to shortages of supplies in same of these areas be fore the next crop becomes available.
