Once belonging to a devout Catholic family, Sharon was a child who grew up on the faith until her only living parent suddenly fell ill and left her alone to practice the faith that she was taught. Through a life of struggle and pain, she sought the only thing which she thought would take the pain away. Working as a prostitute, did not in fact help ease Sharon's pain. When her only friend died, Sharon was left even more hopeless until she was discovered by someone who would be her new best friend, an old lady and a God whom she had once long known, but now rejected. Rose of Sharon is A story which reflects how potential hopelessness can be transformed into an incredible hopeful situation.
