Allowing for prospective changes in livestock numbers in 1950-51, the supply of feed concentrates per grain-consuming animal unit is esti mated to be a little smaller than the record supply per animal unit last year, but larger than for any year prior to l9h9. Total supplies of byproduct feeds will again be large in 1950-51, probably continuing near the 20 million-ton level of the past 3 years.
