This book is the world's first Who's Who of the Olympic Games, containing succinct biographies of the 12,000 athletes who, from 1896 to 1980, have qualified in the top three overall Olympic disciplines. It aims to enable the reader to quickly find the names of all Olympic medallists, their rankings and performances.
