"As Stardust on Redwood" is a selection of psalms written to the heart of the spirit. In its pages the silver veins of dreams, return to dwell in the turning seasons of the year, and to reveal again that what matters the most, in our search for the soul, are not only the invisible patterns of grace and the promises they portend, but at last the unforgettable ways, in which they mature into what is real, drench with their light the weft of our world, and thus lend their life to the one heart that breathes inside us all... In "The Orchard," poetry and mysticism are fused. The written word traverses the realm of the sacred so that the reader is transported, soulfully into a place where words are as stars, and each line of verse becomes a promise, to the heart and mind, to the spirit within. Here this world and the otherworld, are woven together and revealed as one, creating in our self the rich, wide and deep experience of the mystic, which is only an innate knowing and the old, interior wisdom, of one's own soul... Last, and rounding out this compilation is the books namesake "The Spiral Arms," an assortment of previously unpublished prose, featuring the short story "Riversong" and "The Dreamcatcher." This brief anthology, in its poetry and poignancy, at times rises up, into even the true presence of prayer, as a book to read and re-read, and to savor throughout every season of the year.
