Author Description

This book is an illustrated text meant to prepare the trainee to become a skilled dressmaker, enable interpretation of various garment designs, and application of concepts learned. Every chapter's content entails an introduction, practice, supplementary content, and some revision questions for testing the trainee's grasp of the content. However, the book does not cover technologies in dressmaking for individual and corporate/ industrial application. There is some concerted effort to produce a book on applied dressmaking that will cover essential but omitted content.
