The Second World War is slowly beginning: the occupation of the Rhineland; the Spanish Civil War; the Rome-Berlin Axis; Stalin’s Great Purge; the abdication of Edward VIII.The tension between fascism, communism and democracy spills over into three young lives as Logan, Michael and Miranda are forced to choose between factions in the great port of Liverpool.
