This book exhibits the Register of the Davis-Monthan Municipal Airfield in Tucson, AZ. It contains splendid grayscale copies of all 218 pages of the original Register. The Register recorded flights into and out of the Airfield during a decade forming the heart of the Golden Age of Aviation. But that's not all. The book also contains three valuable chapters with extensive tables that cross-reference the pilots and their aircraft with the Register page numbers, thus enabling you quickly to find your favorites in the Register. Look for and find Charles Lindbergh, Jimmy Doolittle, Amelia Earhart and hundreds of their Golden Age contemporaries. The Register lay open in Tucson for pilots and passengers to sign between February 6, 1925 and November 26, 1936. Recorded in the Register are 3,704 landings by 1,962 unique pilots, flying 2,192 unique aircraft.This book is a complement to the aviation history Web site known as www.dmairfield.org.
