The Journey is a true story about the westward movement of four families from the eastern United States to the Midwest during the 1800s and early 1900s, one of the pivotal times in U.S. history. Encountering hardship, disease, death, Indians, gunfighters and megaranches, the families were sustained by their love and faith. And though each family began its journey independently of the others, they would end up in the Oklahoma Indian Territory, file land claims, and settle finally, in a town near the Oklahoma border, converging into one.
