A powerful story of one young girl in search of her father's love; a noted powerful New York politician who abruptly left the family to acquire higher education and established himself in the political arena that inspired many to run for office, and a few obtained office at the state and national level, even in the United States Congress. However, the little girl that longed for her father's presence and not understanding why he spent so many hours away, then finally leaving the family later discovered the legacy that shaped her life and work. Esther struggled most of her life trying to understand the dynamics of her relationship with her father and why her father seemingly didn't have time for her. At periods she despised him, but also loved the ground he walked upon, later in life she became just like her father who impacted Harlem, though her work took her to Africa where she is presently feeding, equipping and training thousands to live effectively and thrive.
