The 10o-word minimum does not apply in computing cable charges. Note.--Messages for Honolulu and for all other places in the island of Oahu are delivered free. Messages for Hawaiian Islands beyond Honolulu are accepted only at senderls risk. Messages for the islands of Hawaii, Maui, and Kawai may be forwarded beyond Honolulu by mail or by wireless telegraph. The charge for the wireless transmission is $1.50 for 10 words or less and 15 cents for each word over 10 (address and signature to be counted and charged for), in addition to the rate to Honolulu. There is no charge for mailing. "Via wireless" must be signaled in the checks of messages to be forwarded by wireless telegraph. Messages for other Hawaiian Islands can only be forwarded by mail from Honolulu. The name of the island must appear in address of every message going beyond Honolulu. Samoa: Tutuila station charge, 5 cents per word, 10-word minimum, on ship traffic. No minimum between Suva and Tutuila. Suva: Station charge, 3 pennies per word for interisland work and 6 pennies for ship work; no minimum. This rate is subject to change without notice.
