Recovers and disseminates the rich cultural heritage that represents the urban development of Santiago from the late colonial period until the centenary of the Republic. The book brings together the work of illustrators, painters and photographers whom left a record of their passage and whose panoramic views show the rapid growth experienced for over a century, from village to a large metropolis.
