Nikolai Fedorovich Findeizen (1868-1928), was a historian and critic of Russian music, founder and editor of Russkaia Muzykal'naia Gazeta (1894-1918), and author of 27 books. Findeizen also left diaries in which he described his daily meetings, impressions, events of musical life, and notes about Russian composers. Many of his notes include scores of Russian composers and his analytical comments. This is the first three volumes of his diaries. Started in 2004. Extensive comments by the compiler in each volume.
