This annual departmental report details the policies and programmes of the Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions (DTLR) and its management of public money, including spending plans upto 2003-04. The report provides an overview of its key aims and achievements during 2001-02; describes the organisation and function of the Department since its creation in June 2001; and outlines the Department's performance in its nine main objectives against the public service agreement targets.
