Author Description

The Barents Sea is a stretch of water, lying south of Spitzbergen and the ice edge north of Finland and Sweden. During World War II British and American convoys had to transport supplies to Murmansk for the beleaguered Russians and this book describes the ferocious battles in these icy waters.
