This collection investigates the architectural grandeur and historical significance of European castles and cathedrals through the lens of aerial photography. The book utilizes high-resolution imagery provided by Getmapping to document the structural evolution and geographic placement of these iconic landmarks. By presenting a bird's-eye view, the work offers a unique perspective on how these structures interact with their surrounding landscapes and urban environments.

This volume serves as a visual reference for those interested in the intersection of cartography and architectural history. The focus on aerial imagery provides a specialized perspective that distinguishes it from traditional, ground-level architectural surveys.
