Twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley find their Christmas skiing vacation transformed into a high-stakes search for a secret royal. The protagonists navigate the social landscape of an upscale ski resort, determined to identify which of the attractive young men in their orbit is the elusive Prince Stephen. Their objective is to unmask the royal before the resort's Christmas party concludes, forcing them to balance typical holiday leisure with investigative social maneuvering. The narrative follows a lighthearted, third-person perspective that emphasizes the comedic tension of mistaken identities and teenage social dynamics.

This work fits firmly within the established brand of the Olsen twins' literary ventures, catering to a demographic interested in light, aspirational teen fiction. The narrative relies on familiar tropes of mistaken identity and romantic intrigue to maintain engagement throughout the short page count. Readers likely approach this title for its breezy tone and the recognizable personas of the protagonists rather than complex character development. The story functions as a predictable, seasonal diversion that prioritizes entertainment and wish fulfillment over literary depth.
