A past betrayal threatens to shatter the fragile peace of a hardened criminal and the woman who holds his heart.

Rev, a man who has spent years building walls around his heart after a devastating betrayal, finds his carefully constructed world upended by the return of the woman he thought he’d lost forever. He is determined to protect her, even from himself, but his past actions and the dangerous life he leads make him a threat as much as a protector. The narrative framework appears to be third-person, focusing on Rev's internal struggle and his complex relationship with the woman he loves, navigating the dangerous underbelly of Denver.
