A young woman seeking solace in Iceland finds unexpected romance amidst breathtaking scenery. Kate is reeling from a devastating breakup and a career setback. She impulsively accepts a job at a remote, luxurious lodge in Iceland, hoping to escape her problems and find herself. However, her plans for solitude are disrupted by the lodge's charming and enigmatic head chef, who seems determined to win her over, even as she grapples with her past and the magical allure of the Northern Lights.

The premise sets up a classic enemies-to-lovers or slow-burn romance trope, enhanced by the exotic and visually striking setting of Iceland. The inclusion of the Northern Lights suggests a narrative that blends romantic development with moments of wonder and awe. The 'cosy feel good' descriptor indicates a focus on warmth, comfort, and an uplifting emotional arc, likely appealing to readers seeking an escapist and heartwarming read. The narrative framework appears to be a straightforward third-person perspective, centering on Kate's emotional journey and her developing relationship.
