Winston has a problem. He can't seem to write anymore. Once, he was a well-known, and reputable author. Now, each night, as he hunches over his vintage typewriter, he can't seem to get past a reoccurring dream and a haunting melody. After accepting a beckoning call that he feels within these dreams, Winston, with only his typewriter, journeys to a small New England town where he intends to finish his next book. But once in the small town of Hope's Landing, he isn't sure what's real and what is only a fractured piece of his faltering mind.His mind used to be his tool, his chisel to the stone, but now, as a storm rolls over the coastline, Winston can't seem to find the line that separates reality and a fictional world that is all his own.
