The premise sets up a classic domestic thriller where a protagonist's investigation into a family tragedy unearths darker truths. The comparisons to 'The Woman in the Window' suggest a focus on suspenseful pacing and psychological tension as the protagonist navigates a landscape of lies. The narrative appears designed to keep the reader guessing about the true nature of the events and the trustworthiness of the characters involved. Readers can anticipate a plot driven by revelations and escalating danger as the protagonist peels back layers of deception.
