There was not a soul, as we expected. The troops were in their designated shelters. There was one whom we had put away, and the bullet flew into it... I went home and collapsed on the bed; my head was on fire, my heart ached from remorse. His ears still hear the screams, moans and cries for help... I said to myself in dismay: here we are dreaming of the greatness of the nation. And what is more important - to the left, one should not be, or there was the one who is to come.. And suddenly I exclaimed involuntarily: "I do not want him to die..!"?
