Lindet entretient la Société des procédés aujourd'hui en usage pour la stérilisation complète et le chauffage à 60° du lait destiné à l'expédition à distance. Il décrit spécialement un appareil imaginé par M. Bochet pour le chauffage du lait dans la boîte mème d'expédition. Ce mode de chauffage ne détruit pas, bien entendu, les microbes pathogènes, mais engourdit le ferment lactique pendant un temps suffisant pour permettre le transport du lait.
