In a world reshaped by a madman, where dragons and mass-produced murderers replaced cars and the internet, a boy with an otherworldly sword and a group of misfits may be the only things between humanity and total extinction. Roland Days always wanted to get out of the Stronghold and explore the brand-new world outside as a Scavenger. His wish is granted when a group of terrorists attack the Stronghold and he is forced to flee, wielding his father's sword. In a strange twist of fate, he discovers the terrorists-who call themselves 'Legion'-share his face. Teaming up with Beatrix, an archer with pink eyes and a shady past, Roland vows to stop Legion from terrorizing what remains of civilization after the cataclysm that terraformed the Earth twenty years ago. Forged Fates blends the fantasy, sci-fi and post-apocalyptic genres to create a new type of adventure focused on the characters and their journey as they learn about the new world, the old world and themselves.
