A supernatural avenger and a renowned archaeologist must join forces to stop an ancient Egyptian evil from consuming the modern world. NYPD cop Sara Pezzini, wielding the mystical Witchblade, finds her world colliding with that of archaeologist Lara Croft, the Tomb Raider. Together, they must confront a mystical menace that has emerged from the sands of ancient Egypt, threatening to unleash chaos. The narrative framework appears to be a direct continuation of Witchblade's established supernatural adventures, now intersecting with the globe-trotting exploits of Tomb Raider.

This graphic novel is presented as a crossover event, pairing the supernatural avenger Witchblade with the action-adventure icon Lara Croft. The premise suggests a blend of dark superhero action and archaeological mystery, appealing to fans of both franchises. The collaboration between these two distinct characters likely offers a unique dynamic, exploring how their different skill sets and mythologies interact. The story's focus on an ancient Egyptian mystical menace points towards a plot involving artifacts, curses, and potentially powerful, otherworldly entities.
