Every day, we rely on water to sustain us. But what happens when our most precious resource becomes scarce? In a future not far from now, we will increasingly face that challenge. The United States has a five-year water management strategy in place to deal with the devastating effects of climate change. But as droughts and floods wreak havoc across the country, water-related conflict and fragility are becoming reality. Through the eyes of the government agencies charged to protect our welfare, this document gives an intimate look at the challenges we face in protecting our most essential resource.
