This book is a memoir of a retired child psychiatrist, who was trained and practised in UK. Names, characters, and incidents are necessarily changed for obvious reasons.. Cases chronicled include: Anorexia Nervosa, Early Childhood Handling problems, Abuse, School Phobia, Sleep Problems, Parental Psychiatric Problems, Autism, Psychoses, Bipolar Disorders. There are also cases of conmen or entrepreneurs in the making, and cases that turn out not to be psychiatric at all. The book provides a glimpse through one specialist’s eyes and will be of interest to health care professionals, parents and patients and the public in general.
