From the primary stage, children should be cultivated the interests of calligraphy which is significant to lay a good foundation for them to grasp the art of calligraphy in the future. Chinese Curriculum Standards formulated by the Ministry of Education has explicitly specified that students should adapt to the capability of literacy and writing in various stages to achieve the basic goal of regular script of hard pen writing, neat, complete and fast. The basic education in China has seen the writing education as one of the basic skills of students as well as a compulsory course.
