Literature review providing background information on the suitability of pre-harvest aspen control as a silvicultural treatment for the southern interior of B.C. This study assessed stem-injection of herbicides, application of ground active herbicides, and girdling for their effectiveness in controlling aspen and for the various risks and impacts associated with their use.
