This new book presents a radical and fascinating critique of the theory and practice of mediation. Using social constructionism and particularly discourse analysis, peacemaking processes in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are re-evaluated. The narrow and exclusive parameters circumscribing the field of mediation are challenged and pushed out, bringing in new areas for consideration and analysis.
