Following the loss of a baby it can be a real struggle for grieving parents to find purpose, meaning, hope, peace and answers to their baby's sudden and tragic death. This book intends to help grieving parents and families to feel less alone in their grief through sharing my own stillbirth story in the hope that it can help to break the stigma of baby-loss. Whether your loss was from a stillbirth, miscarriage or neonatal infant death this book is a source of comfort and support. A special section is dedicated to honour 197 angel babies who left this world too soon and opportunities are provided within the book to add your baby's name. Eight bereaved parents share their personal accounts of how they coped with the loss of their baby and a heartfelt poem is written to express the spiritual and emotional connection a parent will always have to their angel baby. Suggestions are made to help young children through bereavement and advice is offered to family and friends who may be struggling to help their loved ones through baby-loss as well as, website links are provided to bereavement services. In the second part of this book, I candidly talk about my rare allergic reaction to medication, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TENs) nine months after the stillbirth of my daughter. TENs ruthlessly burnt 60% of my skin and left me on a life support machine in a medically induced coma. By sharing my harrowing experience I hope to shed some much needed light on TENs so that others do not have to suffer like I did by creating awareness of the condition. I want those who have gone through TENs to know that they are not alone. 25% of the profits from each book sale will be donated to the Sands Stillbirth Neonatal Death Charity (Registration Numbers: 299679; SC042789).
